I’m a mother of child who was diagnosed with RRP Recurrent Respiratory Papillomatatosis at the tender age of 16 months. This is a disease in which tumors grow inside the larynx, vocal cords and trachea. There is no known cure for RRP. Surgery is the main method of controlling this condition. Although there are a few adjunct therapies to try none have shown 100% remission.
Although I’m not a writer in anyway shape or form. I thought this would give me a much needed outlet on a condition that only involves around 1% of the population, if that. And maybe get the word out about a condition I myself never knew existed.
